One GOD, one COMMUNITY, one VOICE

The How

"Whenever God determines to do a great work, he first sets his people to pray."
C. H. Spurgeon.

The What

Good news! God has a wonderful plan for our lives and in alignment with this plan He has placed each of us where He intends us to live out that plan. Whatever community you live in it's because God has placed you in it and He has an awesome assignment for you there. God has entrusted a plan to you and as His disciple part of our responsibility is to positively affect the spiritual health of your community.

As God is our hope and answer in all things we know that "... If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them."

Matt. 18:19-20

The Why

The Community Prayer Network is an assembly of faith-based people that gather in their local communities to pray for their local community.

Believing in prayer, expressing their faith through action and motivated by love people meet in the community during a series of Christ-centered, scheduled prayer gatherings.

We are workers in a field that does not belong to us, using tools that do not belong to us, reaping a harvest that does not belong to us, and working for a glory that does not belong to us (1 Corinthians 3:5-9). By His grace, making prayer for our city a priority has allows the Holy Spirit to remind us that God alone is the only hope for our community.

The Community Prayer Network is dedicated to the power of prayer in every local community.  A non-denominational, Christ-centered ministry
available as approved for use in any community.
